A section of the M1 southbound has re-opened following a road traffic collision between a car and a lorry.
The incident in question took place between junction 14 A509 (Milton Keynes) and junction 13 A421 (Bedford/Milton Keynes South).
Heavy traffic was reported in the area after the accident forced one lane to temporarily close.
Representatives from local emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesperson from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service offered a brief update on the situation as they said: "Crews are currently at the scene of a collision involving a car and a lorry on the M1 southbound between junctions 14 (Milton Keynes) and 13 (Milton Keynes South)."
No-one was trapped or injured and the road has now re-opened.
