Works are currently taking place on a section of the A421, closing part of the road for four weeks.

A section of the A421, Bletchley Road, has closed for 4 weeks while Anglian Water complete works in the area.

The busy road in Great Horwood is closed between the roundabout at the junction with Winslow Road for approximately 622 metres.

The closure is in place while Anglian Water mains replacement works take place.

An alternative route is in place using the A5 and A422 towards Buckingham and/or Stony Stratford.

The section of road is covered by Buckinghamshire Council.

Works are set to continue until Tuesday 29th August, with the section of road remaining shut at all times.
