School in Milton Keynes forced to close today (22/03) due to fault with electronic systems

Pupils at Stephenson Academy in Milton Keynes are having to work from home today (22/03) due to a fault with the electronic systems at the school.

Interim Principal, Jo Strong wrote to parents and carers of Stephenson Academy this morning:

"We have been working hard over the last 24 hours to resolve issue at site which whilst were fixed late last night remain unresolved this morning.  We are unable to access any electronic systems, phone lines or other electronic means of communication. This impacts on our ability to run the planned lessons and ensure that children remain engaged and on track.

"The tutors will be in touch using their own personal devices.

"This directly impacts on our ability to keep young people safe and have accurate records of attendance, tutors will not be able to send out any work packs as of yet but should we be able to access work packs from our other Academy we will these sent out as soon as we can."
