Santander in Bletchley permanently closes today

Santander in Bletchley is to permanently close today (8/7) due to a major change in the way the banking giant operates.

The Bletchley bank, located in the Brunel Shopping Centre, is among the 111 bank branches across the UK that are closing this year.

These closures have been announced due to the change in banking habits, with more people doing it online during the pandemic.

The closest Santander will now be in Central Milton Keynes, but there are other banking provisions available at nearby Post Office branches in Bletchley.

Post Offices along Queensway, Whaddon Way and Melrose Avenue offer banking services - including deposits, free cash withdrawals and balance checks, as well as offering face-to-face access to government services, bill payment, foreign currency, travel insurance and postal services.
