Revolutions to hold tea party to celebrate NHS turning 70

This July the NHS turns 70 years old and Revolutions Bar in the Xscape think it is worth celebrating.

To mark this special occasion they will be hosting their very own tea party whilst raising funds for the Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Cancer Centre Appeal.

The appeal is raising £2.5million to transform cancer care in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, by creating a bright, welcoming and much more spacious specialist cancer centre.

Revolutions are looking forward to supporting their local hospital.  Sales Manager Jess said: “It is really importance for us as a company to support the local community, and the new cancer centre appeal will be a great asset to the people of Milton Keynes.”

Corporate Fundraising Officer Michaela said: “It’s great that Revolutions have chosen to throw a tea party to celebrate the NHS 70th Birthday, as well as raise funds for our cancer centre appeal. We are really looking forward to supporting this lovely event.”

The tea party will take place on July 5th between 12pm – 4pm at Revolutions. Tickets are £5 and include unlimited tea and coffee and live entertainment. Local businesses have also donated some generous prizes for the raffle and there will be some home baked treats on offer too!

Tickets for the event are now on sale and can be booked by calling 01908 679875 - or people can show up on the day.
