Milton Keynes Council has recently revealed that road resurfacing work on St Mary Road, New Bradwell has been delayed after a water leak was discovered earlier today (30/07).
On their official Twitter account, a spokesperson for Milton Keynes Council posted: "Our resurfacing works have been delayed after we discovered a water leak when removing the road surface."
After water company Anglian Water have completed their repairs, the resurfacing work will be able to continue uninterrupted.
Currently, it is unknown how long the repair works will take.
A number of locals have also taken to social media to report significant delays to traffic in the surrounding area.
