Residents in Milton Keynes care home receive special visit from Classic Car Club

Motor enthusiast residents and staff at Ashby House care home were hosts to the members of Milton Keynes Classic Car Club.

Staff and residents were delighted to invite Milton Keynes Classic Car Club along to show off their wonderful cars and talk to residents and visitors about them.

Everyone had a fantastic time comparing the merits of the different makes and models and discussing their histories.

General Manager Wojciech Kuczkowski said: “We have had such a lovely day, it is so nice to be able to invite visitors onto our grounds again. Lots of our residents are car enthusiasts so they loved being able to look at the cars and chat to their owners.

"We are planning lots more events like this one to make sure we make the most of the summer months.”

"Royston, a resident at Ashby House and his family have been vintage motorbike and car enthusiasts for many years, he and his family used to go to Classic Car shows all over Milton Keynes and surrounding areas to show their vehicles, so it was lovely for him and his family who also came today to this event with their own cars to be able to look at all the other cars and chat to the owners today.

    "There were some absolute beauties!”
