Red Bull Racing have unveiled a special one-off white livery ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.

The new livery, which had been teased across the team's social media accounts, honours the partnership between Red Bull and Honda that began in the 2019 season.

From 2026, Red Bull will become a full-time works team in partnership with Ford, while Honda will become the engine supplier for Formula One rivals Aston Martin.

The partnership has been a hugely successful one for both sides, with Red Bull claiming four Drivers' Championships and two Constructors' Championships, with the hunt for at least one more title still underway in 2025.

To date, Red Bull have finished in the top three of the Constructors' Championship every year that Honda supplied the team engines and the team had the most dominant season in Formula One in 2023, winning every race bar one.

The special livery, which will be driven by four-time champion Max Verstappen and new teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who has been backed by Honda since before joining the Red Bull junior program in 2019.

It is an updated callback to a special livery adorned by the team back at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, being all white with subtle red highlights and primary logo, with the driver numbers on the nose of the car sitting inside a red circle - similar to the white and red flag of Japan.

Dubbed 'The White Bull', the livery has been well received by fans who have called for the colour scheme to return every season since 2021.

Christian Horner, CEO and Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, said: "Our relationship with Honda deserves celebration, it has been one of continued success and brought the Team one of the most triumphant and dominant periods in our history."

"Max has won four World titles with a Honda Power Unit and the Team have lifted two Constructors' titles, in addition, Honda's reliability enabled to complete the most successful season in the sport's history in 2023."

"This livery is a tribute to Honda's success in the sport and the final year of, what has been a thoroughly enjoyable partnership. I am looking forward to seeing it out on track."

Koji Watanabe, President of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC), said: "It is quite moving to see the RA272 tribute livery on the latest Red Bull Racing machine, in the final year of Honda and Red Bull’s partnership."

He added: "Our successful path will continue to shine in the history of F1."

The Japanese Grand Prix takes place at Suzuka Circuit this weekend, Sunday 6th April.
