Red Bull Racing's top junior prospect has claimed victory in the Formula Regional Oceania ahead of his Formula 2 debut this year.
British-Swedish driver Arvid Lindblad entered the winter competition as a way to build up enough FIA Super Licence points ahead of the 2025 season.
The 17-year-old claimed the championship with two races remaining, picking up six race victories and five other podiums across the first 13 races of the 15-race competition.
Lindblad's victory in Oceania has given him 18 Super Licence points, seeing him reach 46 in total - above the 40 required to be eligible to drive in Formula One.
Reaching the Super Licence requirements allows him to work as a reserve driver for either Milton Keynes-based Red Bull Racing or sister team Racing Bulls from this season, getting to work closely with the teams and prepare himself for a future in F1 after he turns 18 in August.

That should mean enough points for a Super Licence to become a Red Bull / RB reserve option this year #F1
This would also coincide with his debut in Formula 2 this year, which comes following a truly impressive rookie season in Formula 3 in 2024.
In F3, Lindblad earned four races wins, including on his debut in the Bahrain Sprint Race, and finished fourth in the championship.
His impressive showing has seen him promoted to F2 after just one year in F3, with a lot of attention on him as a potential future Formula One driver for the team.
