Property in Milton Keynes closed after numerous parties and Covid breaches

The property on Newport Road, New Bradwell was subject to a closure order today after numerous complaints.

The neighbours had made a number of complaints about late night parties, loud music and Covid-19 law breaches.

The property has now been closed for 3 months, and may only be entered by the tenant or authorised personnel.

The Thames Valley Police officer involved in the case said: "The owner of this property has allowed their house to be used for social gatherings and parties.

"Not only is this a breach of current COVID laws, it has attracted anti-social behaviour and caused considerable nuisance to other local residents.

"With this partial closure order now in place for 3 months – Which only allows the owner of the property to be inside the house – hopefully it will give them time to reflect on their behaviour and the stress and anxiety they have caused to their neighbours."

The police also said they will take a positive action against any further anti-social behaviour in Milton Keynes.

Any suspicious behaviour can either be reported online via Thames Valley Police website or calling 101.
