Popular Milton Keynes garden centre announces partial re-opening

Frosts Garden Centre has announced that it will be partially re-opening today (6/5), meaning that customers can now visit the food hall and gardening sections.

In an email sent to customers, and as seen by MKFM, Frosts says that following discussions with Milton Keynes Trading Standards they are able to partially reopen whilst keeping customers and staff safe.

The store initially closed on March 23rd as the Government advised all non-essential shops to cease trading or provide services online.

Today, the food hall and gardening department will reopen with the leisure and restaurant side remaining closed for the time being.

Frosts will be implementing various measures, including creating separate entrances for the food hall and plant/gardening departments, adding clear floor markings to ensure social distancing, installing protective screens at the tills, and ensuring that staff frequently wash their hands and use hand sanitiser.

In return, shoppers are being asked to shop on their own, follow the sign and floor markings, and use credit/debit/contactless payments where possible.

Alongside selling gardening products, the food hall will stock meat and poultry, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and dairy products, bakery, frozen meals, fish and vegetables, grocery items, and alcohol.

The opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10:30am to 4pm (browsing from 10am).
