Police to host community events across Milton Keynes as force joins national week of action against knife crime

    TVP will be hosting community events across Milton Keynes throughout this week.

    A national intensified week of action to tackle knife crime launched today (Monday 13th November 2023).

    Thames Valley Police says its approach is to increase education and early intervention to stop young people getting involved in crime in the first place.  Alongside this, strong proactive policing tackles those who carry knives.

    MK South Neighbourhood team will be holding community events throughout the week at the following locations, with residents being invited to join in for free.

     Tuesday 14th November

    •  Outside the Eaglestone Community Centre, Harrier Court, MK6 5BZ 3pm – 7pm

     Wednesday 15th November

    •  Moorlands Family Centre, Dodkin Beanhill, MK6 4LP 3pm - 7pm

     Thursday 16th November

    •  Fishermead Trinity Centre, MK6 2LA  3pm – 7pm

     Friday 17th November

    •  Westcroft District Centre, Barnsdale Drive, MK4 4DD 4pm-7pm

     Sunday 19th November

    •  Netherfield Shops, Farthing Grove, MK6 4JH  2pm-6pm
