Police seize women’s car in Milton Keynes citing multiple driving offences

Yesterday (24/07), Thames Valley Police stopped a woman after it was revealed that she was operating a vehicle without the correct authorisation.

After stopping the woman in Beanhill, officers on the scene realised that she was driving the car without an MOT, insurance or tax.

The woman did have a license in her possession, but it was not valid as it was only a provisional which had already expired.

Her two front tires were also deemed a safety hazard as they were bald.

The woman of unknown age told officers that she was “just popping to the shops” as she doesn’t usually drive the car.

Her car was seized and a court file is set to be prepared.
