Thames Valley Police raided a cannabis factory in Winslow yesterday (7/4) seizing over half a million pounds worth of marijuana.
Following a tip-off from a member of the public, officers located and secured a cannabis factory containing plants believed to have a street value of approximately £650,000.
Over 1,500 plants, along with cultivation equipment, have been seized.
Police are yet to find the owners of the plants and have appealed for those involved to come forward. "Do you own the cannabis plants?" a spokesperson said online.
"TVP Aylesbury Vale would be delighted to hear from you! Feel free to give us a call, we have a few questions we would love to ask you.
"We must remind our local criminals, we are very much 'business as usual' here in Aylesbury Vale and will endeavour to bring offenders to justice."
Local residents have taken to Facebook to congratulate both the officers and the member of the public who informed police. One person said: "Well done to the member of public firstly, and then the TVP for following and dealing with the situation."
Another added: "Well done. Thank you for continuing your efforts to keep us and our young people safe."
