Thames Valley Police have revealed the reason why armed officers attended an incident in Stacey Bushes last night.
Armed officers and a dog unit were seen surrounding a property on the estate from around 8pm last night, with witnesses saying a number of units were involved.
Police have now confirmed that they attended following a 'third party report of a firearms incident'.
However, on arrival it transpired this was a mental health episode and no firearms were found.
There was no crime recorded and no further action was taken.
