Police appeal for witnesses after man is pushed off bike and robbed in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Milton Keynes.

    At 4.30pm on Wednesday (28/10), the victim, an 18-year-old man, was cycling near the XSCAPE building, in the direction of Fishermead, when he was approached from behind by an unknown man.

    The offender took hold of his bike and asked to look at it. When the victim refused, the offender pushed the victim off the bike and cycled away on it.

    A group of males were also with the offender.

    The victim was not injured during the incident.

    The bike has since been recovered.

    Investigating officer PC Siobhan Jones, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.

    An 18-year-old man and a 15 year-old boy, both from Milton Keynes, have been arrested in connection with this incident and have been released on police bail.
