Peter Andre gears up for electrifying performance in Grease The Musical at Milton Keynes Theatre

Milton Keynes Theatre has confirmed that pop star Peter Andre will be performing in Grease The Musical this year.

The much-loved arts venue has had a turbulent year, having spent most of 2020 closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, so long as the Government's four-step road map goes to plan, Milton Keynes Theatre will be able to finally reopen next month.

May 17th will mark the third stage of easing of lockdown restrictions, and the theatre will be able to resume its heavily suspended performance schedule, alongside welcoming back live audiences.

In the past month, ATG Tickets, which runs the theatre, has announced several new performances that will take place this year including the world premiere of Disney's Bedknobs and Broomsticks, alongside the popular SIX The Musical

Another heavily-anticipated show that will be on in August this year is Grease The Musical, which brings the 1978 movie and its soundtrack to the theatre stage.

It has been choreographed by Arlene Phillips, a former Strictly Come Dancing Judge, and directed by Nikolai Foster, who has worked on many critically-acclaimed theatre productions.

Milton Keynes Theatre has also confirmed that Peter Andre, a well-known singer and TV personality, will be guest-starring in Grease The Musical.

He will play the Teen Angel and Vince Fontaine in "selected performances" from August 23rd to August 28th 2021.

Milton Keynes Theatre said in a statement: "We're 'Hopelessly Devoted' to Peter Andre in Grease!

"Peter stars as Teen Angel in selected performances from August 23-28, 2021. All existing bookings are valid for the new dates."
