A person operating a mini digger caused a small gas leak yesterday (28/7) after accidentally damaging a pipe in Bletchley.

It happened along St Paul's Road in Bletchley at around 1:15pm.

Firefighters quickly rushed to the scene after receiving a report and set up a 50-metre cordon around the area.

They used a gas monitor and gave safety advice to those concerned.

A gas engineer then arrived and fixed the leak, before the cordon was lifted.
