'People are terrified': a look inside ICU at Milton Keynes Hospital given front page in The Guardian

    A story about the coronavirus pandemic inside Milton Keynes Hospital has made the front page of The Guardian newspaper today.

    The story - accompanied by the headline 'People are Terrified' - includes an interview with a 53 year old patient who has been in intensive care for five days.

    As well as being on the front page of the newspaper, the story is also available to read on The Guardian website here.

    It comes as MKFM revealed there were 230 COVID-positive inpatients at Milton Keynes Hospital as of Wednesday morning.

    The news followed our exclusive interview on Wednesday with Hospital CEO Joe Harrison.

    During the interview, Mr Harrison also spoke about how instances of patients catching COVID-19 whilst at Milton Keynes Hospital are 'relatively rare'.

    And he also revealed that hundreds of people are having to wait over a year for an operation at Milton Keynes Hospital due to covid.
