Local residents are still reporting queues of over an hour to get into Ikea in Milton Keynes, months after it re-opened following the lockdown.

MKFM reported at the start of June that IKEA were forced to close the car park at their Milton Keynes store as hundreds of people queued to get into the store on its first day after re-opening.

But months later, it seems that people are still facing huge delays in entering the store.

One resident tweeted that they waited 'one hour and 31 seconds' yesterday before being allowed to enter the store in Bletchley.

Another added that they went at the end of July and also had to wait for around an hour before they were allowed inside.

They took a photo at the time showing the huge queue of people waiting to enter.

Social distancing measures in store mean that capacity has been limited with people being asked to wait outside the store until it is safe to enter.
