More industrial action will be taking place across the rail network on Saturday 13 August, Thursday 18, and Saturday 20 August 2022.
Over 6,500 members from train drivers union Aslef will be walking out on Saturday over pay, affecting rail travel.
Southeastern, CrossCountry, London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway will see no services running on Saturday.
Avanti West Coast has also warned passengers not to travel.
The warnings come as it was today (11/8) announced that Euston Station will be closed on the day of strike action.
James Dean, Network Rail West Coast South route director, said: “We’re sorry to passengers who’ll be impacted by the ASLEF strike by train drivers this Saturday. With the majority of Euston’s train operators involved we’ve taken the difficult decision to close the station all day. I’d please urge people to follow the advice of their train operator for information on ticketing and refunds. You can also plan your journey for an alternative day by using the National Rail Enquiries website at www.nationalrail.co.uk.”
The strike action on Saturday 13 August will affect the following companies:
- Avanti West Coast
- CrossCountry
- Greater Anglia
- Great Western Railway
- Heathrow Express
- Hull Trains
- LNER
- London Northwestern Railway
- London Overground
