The Parks Trust have reported increased fly-tipping taking place in Milton Keynes during the coronavirus lockdown.

Posting photos of rubbish which had been dumped on their Twitter feed, they said: "With local tips closed, we are unfortunately finding an increasing amount of illegal fly-tipping."

"Clearing this rubbish will be expensive and time consuming for us."

"If you see anything suspicious, please support us by reporting it to 101."

The Parks Trust is an independent charity that looks after over 6,000 acres of parkland and green spaces in Milton Keynes.

All waste and recycling centres in Milton Keynes are currently closed due to the coronavirus outbreak and resdients are being asked not to leave waste outside the sites.

The Newport Pagnell recycling centre is open for commercial waste only, but tradespeople are being told to only visit the site if necessary and maintain social distancing at all times.
