Last week, My Chemical Romance took to Stadium MK with around 90,000 music fans for three nights of live music.
The American, Alt-Rock, Emo band returned to the UK for the first time in 11 years with the second, third and fourth shows taking place at Stadium MK, Milton Keynes.
Fans eagerly booked tickets for Stadium MK's gigs following the band's announcement back in 2020 and, after two years of waiting, the New Jersey Band finally took to the stage last week as part of their world tour.
Over the three nights, My Chemical Romance had support acts Placebo, Lost Alone, Aviva, Barns Courtney, Cassyette, Starcrawler and Charlotte Sands joining them to get the crowd pumping.
Around 90,000 music fans were able to get hold of tickets for the much anticipated event, and they weren't the only ones excited to be at Stadium MK, Lead singer Gerard Way, on stage said, “it’s been two and a half years since we’ve been able to do this, lets have some fun”.
Take a look back below with Stadium MK:
On Thursday (19/5), MKFM spoke to some fans ahead of the band's first MK gig. Some groups had been queuing for the show since Tuesday, with others travelling from around the world.
One fan, who had travelled from Germany, told Charlotte from the MKFM news team: "I'm here from Speyer, in the south of Germany, we are pretty excited."
My Chemical Romance has kicked off events at Stadium MK, with Las Vegas Rock Band Imagine Dragons set to play their only UK tour date at the venue next month.
