Only 24 hours to go until the 2021 MKFM Tour de Vale

Tomorrow WheelPower look forward to the return of the 2021 MKFM Tour de Vale to Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

This event has been taking place since 2003 and it is Buckinghamshire’s Biggest Charity Bike Ride.

And it’s not to late to join as we can confirm that entries will be taken on the day, and with the weather forecast now looking set fair for Sunday now is the last opportunity to dust off the bike, pump up those tyres and do something amazing for charity.

Over the years the money raised from this annual fundraising event has transformed the lives of disabled people across the whole country. From the Birthplace of the Paralympic Movement WheelPower continues to provide opportunity for people of all ages to take part in sport/activity and to enjoy the many benefits of doing so.

“As riders in the Tour de Vale you can be assured that every penny you raise goes to helping WheelPower to reach more and more disabled people through our national programmes, events and sports festivals. This event is by far our biggest fundraiser and we couldn’t do it without the ongoing help of our community who continue to amaze us with their determination and generosity in supporting this event year after year. We hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you still are undecided then we can promise you a wonderful, fun celebratory event at Stoke Mandeville this weekend.” (WheelPower)

No matter which route you choose (25km,70km,115km), there will be plenty of smiles to be had along the way. You will also find plenty of water stops, friendly marshals and support vehicles to make sure everyone stays safe from beginning to end. On your return to the Stadium, you will be rewarded with a finishers medal, free massage, entertainment from MKFM as well as a well earned BBQ!
