The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Mick Legg and Mayoress Mandy Legg are calling on residents to nominate individuals or groups that have made an impact in our community for the Milton Keynes Mayor's Awards 2024.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Milton Keynes says, “It has been an honour and privilege to represent the city over the past six months but we have always said the role is not about us it is a chance for us to meet and acknowledge the many individuals and organisations who make a real difference to peoples lives in challenging circumstances in this wonderful city of ours.
This is why we are calling for nominations for this years Mayor's Awards to show recognition for the individuals and organisations who with no thought other than to make a difference, make life better for so many people in Milton Keynes.
We are delighted to be hosting the Mayor's Awards on Friday 1 March 2024 from 19.00 during the Mayor's Civic Reception and hope that nominees will pencil this date in their diary, as we’ll be inviting the winner and two runners up from each category to attend along with a guest each.”
