The annual firework celebration in Newport Pagnell has been cancelled for 2020 due to the coronavirus.
Event organisers shared the news on social media earlier this evening, saying that it is "with our deepest regret" that members of the Fireworks Committee have taken the decision.
They added: "We have had discussions with all parties that are involved and as there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding large displays being able to go ahead, we have had to make this difficult decision."
Organisers say they are looking forward to making the 2021 display even more spectacular.
It is the latest event to be cancelled due to the coronavirus - with the Newport Pagnell Christmas Light Switch On officially being cancelled for this year yesterday.
