New premium menswear store to open at Milton Keynes shopping centre

    This spring, intu Milton Keynes will be welcoming a new menswear retailer, SD –The Home of Menswear by Suit Direct.

    It plans to open on Monday 12th April when non-essential shopping resumes nationwide.

    The new premium fashion offering will stock a range of leading menswear brands – including Ben Sherman, Jeff Banks, Marc Darcy, Racing Green, Ted Baker – alongside a number of popular brands previously found in Debenhams.

    SD by Suit Direct will offer tailored suits, blazers, shirts, coats, casual wear, shoes and a selection of accessories.

    There will be a wedding collection launched upon opening too, with other occasionwear for post-lockdown races, galas and award ceremonies.

    “We’re thrilled to be welcoming a new retailer to our centre as we return to operating for non-essential shopping. SD by Suit Direct will be a fantastic new addition, bringing a fresh and exciting retail offering to the people of Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas”, says Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes.

    intu Milton Keynes, alongside neighbouring shopping centre the centre:mk, has seen multiple store closures in the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The most recent permanent closure was Topshop, after the brand was bought and shifted to online-only by ASOS.

    But intu is preparing to welcome more businesses in the coming months, with a spokesperson saying that "more exciting news and new retailer announcements" will be coming soon.
