Muse took to the stage at The National Bowl last night (25/6).

Muse took to the stage at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on Sunday, in what was the iconic venue's first gig in seven years.

The multi-platinum and Grammy Award winning rock band appeared as part of their major Summer 2023 tour. The band were supported by Royal Blood and The Warning.

The National Bowl, on Watling Street, has a capacity of 65,000 and has seen the likes of Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Eminem and Linkin Park.

Fans have taken to social media to praise the band's show, stating that is it 'brilliant' to have live music return to the venue.

'Yesterday was the most amazing day. Muse were absolutely phenomenal as always,' one Twitter user said.

While another added: 'Muse, Royal Blood, The Warning. Best Single concert line up I've been to.'

Despite the hit show, not all fans were left happy following traffic issues.

With multiple road closures in place for safety reasons, many of those driving to the gig faced heavy queues before and during the show.

Some stated that they missed the concert after sitting in 'hours' worth of traffic.

'In the car since 4.30pm, and 2hrs spent queueing for prepaid car park MK Bowl. Missed both support acts and will just make it to Muse,' one fan wrote.

Another commented: 'Why are the jams so bad for National Bowl car parks? We've been queuing for over 2 hours, with no sign of movement.'

The band have this morning added 3 new dates to the tour in Dublin, Manchester and the O2 arena in London.
