Mike Williamson, MK Dons manager told MKFM, “We’re optimistic, we’re excited. Looking at home first game, big game which is good. I’m going to really get my teeth into that today (fixtures) but yeah, I’m excited.”
The Dons also have a pre-season in Germany, where Williamson intends to get contact time with the players, after recently becoming manager of the football club in October 2023. Williamson added, “The key is to get a lot of contact time with them, tactically, technically, a boost of team morale and chemistry. So it’s a good opportunity for us to spend a bit of time together, and again, we’ve got a good test out there as well.”
