The local club are donating £5 to Willen Hospice for every new person that attends their training sessions.
MK Bucks Korfball Club are a local, non-profit, sports club based at Emerson Valley Sports Pavillion. Korfball is a sport which men and women play alongside each other in teams of eight, aiming to throw a ball through a bottomless basket.
The club are running a recruitment drive throughout June with a charity twist. For every new person that attends the training sessions this month, MK Bucks Korfball Club will donate £5 to Willen Hospice. They also get their first two sessions for free.
A spokesperson for the club said, “Our sessions are suitable for all levels of skill and fitness including beginners, and for all adults, plus any 14-17 year olds who are happy to play with adults.”
The training sessions take place on Thursdays at 7:45 on the grass outside MK Rugby Club, Emerson Valley.
