Heavy snow is likely to bring widespread travel disruption across the city and county tomorrow.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow in the East of England, including Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire for tomorrow (06/02) and Sunday.
This could mean travel disruption with stranded vehicles and passengers, and potentially delayed and cancelled trains.
Anyone needing to travel is reminded to have blankets and sufficient clothing, in case of a breakdown.
The Met Office has predicted 5-10cm in most areas, with some areas seeing upto 15-20cm of snow.
There is also a risk of untreated pavements and cycle paths, however, Milton Keynes Council tweeted that they have been stockpiling grit for the winter weather.
❄🚛We've used over 3,000 tonnes of rock salt already over the last few months keeping the roads, redways and footways safe to use. We also checked & filled the Council's 400+ salt bins.
