The Midsummer Place team demonstrated their commitment and sense of community after completing the challenging Wolf Run and raising £689 for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity.

Yesterday, August 15, Milton Keynes Hospital Charity (MKHC) took to X to share the amazing achievements of a team from Midsummer Place who completed the Wolf Run and raised £689 for MKHC.

Centre Manager Simon Martin, Russell Glenister, Andrew Sidwell, Tracie Vanner, and Angela Sargeant all proved to themselves and the community that they have the right ‘pack mentality’ for a meaningful cause.

Simon Martin, Centre Manager at Midsummer Place, expressed his pride and gratitude for the team’s efforts and the support they received:

Centre Manager, Simon Martin, expressed his appreciation and delight in the team's work and the help they received.

Simon added, “Milton Keynes Hospital plays a crucial role in providing healthcare to our friends, families, and neighbours, and we wanted to give back in a meaningful way. The dedication and enthusiasm of our team members, Amy, Russell, Andrew, Tracie, and Angela, were truly inspiring. Together, we hope to make a difference and support the hospital in continuing its excellent work.”

On Friday August 2, the Midsummer Place team presented a generous cheque for £689 to MKHC.

Vanessa Holmes, Associate Director for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity said, “On behalf of everyone at Milton Keynes University Hospital and our charity, thank you to the Midsummer Place team. As our work becomes all the more important with the growth in our local population and demand for the hospital services, support like this is truly appreciated. Thank you!”
