The MK SEND Information Festival is held annually and is typically attended by more than 500 people.
The event is hosted in partnership between the SENDIAS Service and PACA MK (Parent Carer Forum), it is an annual event for children and families with special educational needs and disabilities is going virtual for 2022.
This year’s event is taking place online and via video across two days, starting on Friday 4th February until Saturday 5th February.
The two-day Festival which was originally planned around online workshops on Day 1 and in-person activities taking place on Day 2 (at The Ridgeway Centre) will now switch to being fully online on both days.
Keynote speaker Jason Todd from the Art of Brilliance will deliver the interactive session on Saturday 5 February at 10am via Zoom (booking required).
Cllr Zoe Nolan, Cabinet Member for Children and Families at MK Council said: “We’re delighted to once again be hosting our annual SEND Information Festival. This year’s theme is ‘Wellbeing’ and there’s a packed programme of online workshops designed for parents and carers of children and young people aged under 25 living with special educational needs and disabilities.
