Year 11 students from a Milton Keynes secondary school are taking part in the inaugural Track to the Future Programme designed by The Talent Foundry for Network Rail.
20 students from Lord Grey Academy, in Milton Keynes are taking part in the inaugural Track to the Future Programme where they will take part in four sessions, two of which take place at Network Rail’s Quadrant office in Milton Keynes.
The Track to the Future programme will allow students to gain a unique insight into the work of Network Rail.
Mentors from Network Rail will also be supporting the students through four sessions exploring the rail industry.
The Talent Foundry is an independent education charity, and their mission is to increase social mobility by helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds discover what they are amazing at.
The charity’s aim is to increase social mobility by helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds discover what they are amazing at, develop valuable new employment skills and take that first step into the world of work.
