Milton Keynes secondary school receives £1500 donation from local councillors to support remote learning

    Loughton and Shenley Councillors, Dan Gilbert and Amanda Marlow, have made a donated to the Hazeley Academy to provide Chromebooks for students.

    The £1500 donation from the local councillors means the secondary school is now able to purchase 6 Chromebooks for students, helping remote learning.

    Local Councillor, Amanda Marlow, paid Hazeley Academy a visit on December 1st and met with the Headteacher, Tony Nelson, who took her for a look around the new Sixth Form area.

    Cllr Marlow and Headteacher Tony Nelson spent time discussing plans for the school.

    “We’re delighted to support Hazeley Academy and their amazing students with their learning," said Cllr Marlow

    "We know how disruptive COVID has been for our children’s education so it is crucial that we can help students get online and access their learning whenever they can, whether they’re at home or in school.”
