Milton Keynes named THIRD best city in the world for thrift shopping

MK has been named 3rd best city in the world for thrift shopping, according to new data rounded up by Jewellery Box.

A new study, from jewellerybox, has revealed the best cities around the world for thrift shopping by analysing the number of vintage shops, charity shops, flea markets and clothing prices in each city.

Milton Keynes has been crowned 1st in the UK, and 3rd in the world, for vintage fashion due to its large proportion of charity shops.

MK also took the third place title for its proportion of flea markets and car boot sales.

The research, which can be read in full here, found that Milton Keynes is home to over 39 charity shops per 100,000 people and fell just bellow Dallas and Las Vegas on the top table.

The next UK city on the list came in at 7th with 16.8 charity shops per 100,000 people.
