Local business, Really Awesome Coffee, is cheering up charities across Milton Keynes by donating hot drinks to keep amazing key workers going. The team at Harry's Rainbow were thrilled to be the latest recipients!
Really Awesome Coffee is a Milton Keynes mobile coffee van delivering gourmet coffee, hot drinks, hot & cold food and snacks to customers in and around Milton Keynes.
Although the local team would usually cater for events and business functions, during the latest lockdown Really Awesome Coffee are cheering up charities across Milton Keynes by delivering and donating hot drinks.
Yesterday (17/02) Harry's Rainbow were delighted to receive their generous donation of hot drinks from Really Awesome Coffee after what has been a very challenging year for the team. The local charity supports children and young people in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling. As well as providing information and guidance on their website and social networking sites, they provide various bereavement support services. These include regular support groups, activities and trips, and individual tailored support, as appropriate.
Statistics show in the Milton Keynes area alone, on average, 100 parents will die in one year, leaving 170 dependent children. Despite the pandemic, Harry's Rainbow have continued to deliver key services and were thrilled to be recognised for their work in the community with fresh, hot coffee!
Really Awesome Coffee hopes to continue spreading joy and coffee to other local charities in coming weeks.
