Milton Keynes Marathon Weekend

Our multi-award-winning marathon event is consistently ranked in the top 10 UK marathons, an AIMS-certified race, with BARR Gold accreditation for outstanding race management. A London and Boston marathon qualifying event. An Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships and England Athletics Masters qualifying event.

Milton Keynes is blessed with tremendous natural beauty. We have taken advantage of those factors to showcase our green city, giving our runners a course that is scenic, interesting, inspiring, fun to run, fast, and excitingly different from other marathons.

The event will again be held at the renowned Stadium MK, home to the MK Dons Football Club. This venue promises participants and spectators an unforgettable experience with unparalleled facilities and an electric atmosphere.

The Milton Keynes Marathon Weekend occurs on 4-5 May 2025. There is still time to register and join thousands at Buckinghamshire’s MOST POPULAR running weekend.    

You can conquer the Rocket 5k on Sunday, May 4th, and either the Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, or Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5th.

Run both days and earn a third MK Challenge medal! 

On Monday morning, we also have a colourful Superhero Fun Run on the Bank Holiday.

Not running the Milton Keynes Marathon this year? Get a front-row seat to the race by signing up as a Course Marshal! Course Marshals are assigned locations throughout the marathon and half marathon course, and they play an essential role on race day: cheering runners on and keeping an eye on their section of the course.
