A man was deported on Christmas Eve after being pulled over by Police in Milton Keynes for driving offences.
The driver was pulled over by Thames Valley Police officers and produced a fake Romanian driving licence when asked for his driving licence.
Officers then performed a drug wipe on the man and he produced a positive result for cocaine.
Following further investigation by officers, it was revealed that the man entered the UK illegally in 2015 and was therefore set to be deported.
Police have said that the border agency will often deport people on the next available flight, which meant the man was sent out of the UK later in the day on Christmas Eve.
