The CEO of Milton Keynes Hospital, Joe Harrison, has told staff 'we will get through it together' as a second lockdown is set to begin this week.
England will enter a month-long lockdown from Thursday when people will only be allowed to leave their homes for specific reasons, such as education, work or food shopping.
The new measures will last until 2nd December.
Mr Harrison tweeted: "As we go back into a national lockdown, I’d like to say to staff at Milton Keynes Hospital - I know what you gave before, I know it is the hardest thing we’ve faced."
"As we head into dark and difficult months, whatever there is to face, we will face it and get through it together."
"It will be tough. We will support you however we can, do all we can to care for you as you care for our patients."
"We are a team, a family, one I am proud and grateful to be part of. Our commitment to care is unwavering - to you and to the people of Milton Keynes."
