Milton Keynes Hairdresser raising funds

I am Lola, I am 4 years old and I have Angelman's Syndrome.

Lola has Angelman’s syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the nervous system and causes severe physical and learning disabilities. She is the daughter of a friend of the 'Hair Host family.' And we want to help her.

Throughout her life, she will require considerable time with specialists and the right equipment. For example, physiotherapy to improve posture, balance and walking ability; it's also important she attends these sessions to prevent permanent stiffening of the joints. To do this, she has to be transported to a specialist centre by car. She can’t just use any car seat and one has to be made to support her in the correct way—a new seat costs around £3000, which is a considerable sum for any family.

Lola's immediate family has organised a quiz night to help fund her care. It takes place on Friday 21st March at 7pm at Hanslope Village Hall, a village on the outskirts of Milton Keynes (Sat Nav postcode is MK19 7NZ).

    How can you take part?
Tickets are £15.00/person and this includes fabulous food. You need to be a team of 6. So grab friends and family, assemble a team and make a night of it! To book your tickets, email Sam at Hair Host. hello@hair.host
