The Milton Keynes Food Bank has announced a special fundraising event in honour of World Food Day, inviting businesses and community groups across the city to help provide essential items to families and individuals.
MK Food Bank has announced the "MK Can Quest", a dynamic and engaging challenge set in Campbell Park, designed to bring together local businesses and community groups for a cause that benefits the food bank’s winter food drive.
Teams of four will embark on the MK Can route, a 7.6km course, where they will face a variety of physical and mental challenges. Participants will have up to 3.5 hours to navigate the course, with additional tasks offering opportunities to earn extra points. Creative and themed outfits are highly encouraged, with extra points awarded to the best-dressed teams.
Following the quest, teams are invited to celebrate their accomplishments and network with other participants at the Midsummer Tap, central Milton Keynes, from 4pm to 5:30pm. This celebration will feature complimentary drinks, pizza, and a prize-giving ceremony.
To participate, teams should register by completing the application form by September 30, 2024. The £70 team fee must be paid to confirm participation. Teams will receive a detailed information packet prior to the event and can pick up their participant packs on the day of the challenge.
This event not only provides a fantastic team-building opportunity but also supports the MK Food Bank in addressing the winter food shortfall. By joining the Can Quest, participants will help provide essential items to families and individuals in need during the colder months.

MK Food Bank looks forward to a day of adventure, community engagement, and making a positive impact together.
