£1000 cheque presented as part of ongoing philanthropy.
A leading managed services business has donated £1000 to Milton Keynes-based charity Harry’s Rainbow, as part of a continuing programme of giving.
TSYS Managed Services, a Global Payments company, pledged last year to donate £1000 each month to nine different charities over a period of nine months, which will take it into summer this year.
As a member of the local community, Caldecotte-based TSYS Managed Services recognises the importance of giving back to those in need and has identified several charities that it believes is deserving of its donation.
For December, the charity Harry’s Rainbow, which supports children who have lost a parent or sibling, was chosen.
Harry’s Rainbow, like all the charities being helped by TSYS Managed Services, plays a vital role in addressing critical issues. These roles vary from supporting vulnerable children and families to providing essential services for the elderly, and those facing severe health challenges.
“We are proud to support Harry’s Rainbow, as it’s such an incredible organisation that’s doing so much for children who have been through the terrible loss of a loved one,” said Matthew Smith, TSYS Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter.
“It’s one that is close to our hearts, as some of us here on the team have experienced loss at a young age.”
“The donation enabled us to purchase memory boxes and books which are really important tools to help bereaved children with processing grief,” said Odette Mould MBE, of Harry’s Rainbow. “We're really grateful for the support from TSYS.”
TSYS Managed Services and Harry’s Rainbow were introduced to each other by MKFM.
“One of the services we offer at MKFM is linking some of our amazing local charities with clients of ours looking to support the community,” said Jo Ronan, Sales Director, MKFM.
“Milton Keynes has so many amazing charities within the city, it is great to see collaboration like this and sharing that community feel.”
