Milton Keynes council apologise for incompletion of waste collection

    Milton Keynes City Council have issued an apology to residents due to waste contractor’s inability to complete all collections this week and inform residents when to expect collection.

    Following the incompletion of waste collection this week, MK council have issued an apology and informed residents of when they can expect their waste to be collected.

    The statement issued today said:

    “We are sorry that our waste contractor has been unable to complete all collections this week due to unexpected and significant staff shortage.

    Any black bin/sack waste or blue bin/sack waste not collected today should be left out tomorrow (Saturday).

    Any green food and garden waste bin not collected today or tomorrow should be taken in and put out for collection on Friday next week as usual. Crews may prioritise other bins over garden waste today to help catch up.”
