
A Milton Keynes company that specialised in elderly home care is partnering up with local businesses to provide Christmas boxes for vulnerable people.
Home Instead, a Milton Keynes-based care provider, wants to give back to local communities that need a lift this Christmas.
The company is partnering up with local businesses throughout Milton Keynes to provide boxes filled with essential items for vulnerable people.
Home Instead is asking local businesses and residents to help build these boxes and fill them with items to be donated to vulnerable individuals and families across Milton Keynes before Christmas helping those affected by homelessness, mental health issues and domestic violence.
Want to get involved?
1. Wrap/Decorate your chosen shoebox sized box and fill the box with some of the suggested items from the list below.
2. Please indicate who the box is suitable for.
3. Please do not fully seal the boxes yet!
3. Email Home Instead at sarah.freshwater@miltonkeynes.homeinstead.co.uk to tell them which day you would like our Elves to collect your box(es).

- Moisturiser
- Hand creams
- Lip balms
- Puzzle books
- Sanitary products
- Tea/Coffee
- Hats and gloves, scarves and socks
- Notebooks/Pens
- Cleansing wipes
- Colouring books
Please do not include Cleaning chemicals, Sharp tools or knives, Alcohol (inc. liqueur chocolates) or Party Poppers/Fireworks.
Christmas Elves will be collecting the filled boxes on Monday 28th November and Thursday 1st December 2022. You can confirm the best date for collection with the company by contacting sarah.freshwater@miltonkeynes.homeinstead.co.uk.
