As the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the creative arts and entertainment industry, Milton Keynes College has opted to create an online exhibition to showcase the work of its students.
The exhibition launched on Monday 28th June and showcases multiple pieces of work from the next generation of talented artists and innovators at Milton Keynes College’s Creative & Digital Arts, Performing Arts, Media & Games and Music study programmes.
Kate Bashford, Head of School: Arts and Media explained the timely importance of this showcase as she said: "I’m so incredibly proud of the work our students have put in this year and the creativity and imagination they have shown to create this showcase.
"As we finally start to see the Arts industry open up, it’s never been more important to nurture that talent and encourage the next generation to pursue their dream careers."
The exhibition itself contains a mix of online galleries to view on-demand, as well as a selection of live performances. Included in the virtual showcases are a range of paintings, photographs, video games and animations - just to name a few.
