Milton Keynes is celebrating the remarkable success of MKCA Rogue, an Allstar cheerleading team comprising talented individuals aged 11 to 17.
The team recently showcased their prowess at the Cheer City Frost Fest, where they not only secured victory in their division but also claimed the prestigious Grand Champions award, marking them as the highest-scoring team of the morning.
The highlight of their achievement came with the coveted bid to compete in the Allstar World Cheerleading Championships scheduled for April 2024.
Coach and Director Miki Garratt expressed immense pride, stating: "The girls were amazing this weekend. I had people coming up to me saying that they got chills watching their routine. I couldn't be prouder of them. They fought hard and put out a stunning performance."
MKCA Rogue had already set their sights on competing in America in April, and the received bid adds a significant advantage to their journey. Coach Miki explained, "Receiving the bid just makes the process a lot easier as teams who receive a bid before they enter have a 50% chance of making it through the first stages of the competition, whereas those teams without a bid only have a 25% chance of making it through."
The community eagerly anticipates MKCA Rogue's representation at the Allstar World Cheerleading Championships, where these talented young athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on the global stage.
