Katie Mainwaring Founder & CEO of Emily's Star Children’s charity has been nominated and is a regional finalist in the fundraiser of the year category at ITV’s Pride of Britain Awards.
The charity provides essential support, resources, and opportunities for premature babies and children & young adults with life limiting conditions in Milton Keynes.
This is what Katie had to say, “To be acknowledged as a finalist is unbelievable & I am so proud of everything we have achieved in Emily’s name! I’ve watched all 3 other regional finalist’s & I am honoured to be considered alongside these incredible people! Everything I do, I do with Emily in my heart, I love the families we support & that up & down the UK families learn about Emily because of her charity! But I am not a fundraiser, we are fundraisers… we are a team & I could not do without my support network!”.
