Milton Keynes bus service back to normal after earlier diversion due to 'children throwing objects' at buses

Arriva Milton Keynes were forced to divert a bus service earlier this afternoon due to "children throwing objects" at buses.

Service 4 did not serve Greenleys in both directions for a number of hours this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the company posted on Twitter that the diversion was in place due to "children throwing objects at the buses outside Tesco".

The diversion was put in place at 4.45pm this afternoon, and has now ended with the service returning to its normal route.

Service 4 normally operates between Bletchley and Wolverton via Central Milton Keynes, calling at Greenleys, Two Mile Ash, Shenley Church End, Eaglestone and Far Bletchley.

No other delays or alterations to the route were reported and everything is now back to normal.
