Milton Keynes based hospice announce annual Summer Draw

Willen Hospice’s Summer Draw returns, giving Milton Keynes residents the chance to win £2,000 and help raise funds for local people and their families affected by a life-limiting illness.

The draw is held annually to raise money for the vital care the Hospice provides. Tickets are just £1 each and can be purchased online through the Hospice website, or in any of the Hospice’s 15 shops. Everyone who enters has the chance to win a first prize of £2,000, a second prize of £500 or one of ten runner-up prizes of £50.

Last year the Summer Draw raised more than £17,000. Only 15% of the Hospice’s running costs are met by ongoing NHS funding, so the money raised by the draw is a huge boost in making sure staff can continue providing free specialist care for local people and their families affected by a life-limiting illness.

The Hospice’s Lottery Fundraising Manager, Louise Dela-Haye, says, “The Summer Draw is a fun and easy way to support your local hospice. Just by entering, you'll not only have the opportunity to win fantastic cash prizes, but you’ll also be raising money for a great cause. It’s a win-win!”

Summer Draw tickets are available to buy online or at any Willen Hospice shop. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Ticket sales close on Friday 26 July 2024 and the draw will take place on Thursday 8 August 2024.

Chances of winning and full terms and conditions are available on the Willen Hospice website at www.willen-hospice.org.uk/summerdraw.
